September is full of heart at Astoria Park Senior Living in Pasadena, CA. We’re kicking off National Assisted Living Week and embracing a full-month Wild West theme, complete with local outings and a big showdown-style celebration to wrap things up.

September 7–13 is Assisted Living Week and all about community, honoring the staff and residents who make our days shine.

Local Outings, Pasadena & Beyond

We will go out and explore Pasadena and beyond this month. These outings bring our community together and brighten up our routine. Be sure to say Hello when you see us! 

• Lucille’s Smokehouse BBQ (Pasadena): Known for its smoked brisket and warm Southern hospitality.

• Andy’s Coffee Shop & Book Alley (Pasadena): A cozy Route 66 diner with breakfast and a book nook.

• Aquarium of the Pacific (Long Beach): A world-class aquarium with sharks, rays, penguins, and more.

Our Big Event!

The Wild West Party – September 30

Mark your calendars for Tuesday, Sept 30 at 2:00 PM. We’ll wrap up the month with line dancing, country tunes, western-style appetizers, and plenty of themed flair. Cowboy hats and boots are encouraged.
